On my last early morning trip to Sunbury Antique Market, I bought a selection of old wooden and brass candlesticks which have been waiting quietly in my shop.
This afternoon I painted, distressed and waxed them using Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Old White, Country Grey, Paris Grey and Graphite. I particularly love the Paris Grey ones because of the lovely shape.
They are lined up on a shelf in my shop with hand printed tags on them, looking completely reinvented.
