These little chairs were hauled out of a local skip by somebody I know who can’t bear waste! She had no use for them herself, but thought of me. I pondered whether to paint them in pink or blue and then considered one in either colour, because that would be commercial.
Then I thought to myself, I know I am not the only person who would like an alternative to the standard boy/girl colours. When my children were little I would have loved to have been able to buy chairs for them in grey and white.
Painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White and Paris Grey, with the Neemrana Border and Mini Kota Stencil. With a little bit of sanding on the edges and a coat of wax, here they are looking very cool and just waiting for a couple of cool kids to sit on them.
