Sunbury Market Re-invented Table

Apologies, it seems a while since my last post, but I have been really busy developing a new range of stencils.

I have had some global interest in my furniture recently, but the cost of couriering a 20kg trunk to Brazil for example,  is just too much. My stencils will be up on the Etsy shop soon and then people can stencil their own furniture with my designs.

Here is a lovely little table which I bought from Sunbury Market a few weeks ago. My teenage son rather sensitively suggested that it seemed a shame to cover all of the wood with paint as it has such a lovely grain.

I have used a combination of Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Graphite, Old White and Henrietta. My mum would describe Henrietta as a ‘dusky pink’, such a good description.

I applied the stencil and sanded it down quite a lot to give it a rustic feel.

It’s a bit of a quirky piece this one, but so pretty. It would look great in a hallway or bedroom.

You can find it in my Etsy shop here
