It’s Been A While

It’s been a while, ideally I would have posted much earlier if I could have found one spare minute in the last few weeks!

My shop opens tomorrow, very much a soft opening, with a proper launch the following Saturday. By then I will have deciphered the 110 page manual for the cash register, or at least worked out how to open the drawer! There is still stuff to do this evening, but I am breaking for an Indian take away and then back to it, till it looks right.

I do feel a little bit like a fraud, I am a designer with big creative urges, not a shop keeper, how did this happen? Whilst I may feel some trepidation though, I know this is absolutely the right next step for me. And anyway, it’s not exclusively a shop, it’s also my studio and a space for me to run my workshops. I’m going to have a big push on getting people stencilling.
