It’s been phase two with the stencils today. I have worked with the classic combination of Country Grey and Graphite. The first two tins of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint I ever bought were in these colours.
I love working with a selection of patterns and working out how to fit them all together. When you are only working with two colours it can be more of a challenge to position them successfully. I worked on the board in the shop and at one point I had five people standing watching and waiting for me to lift the stencil. They were very impressed when the pattern was revealed. That is the great thing about stencilling, the results can be impressive, but its so easy to do!
