A Little Bit Of Hygge

It’s cold in London in mid January and I always feel like hibernating at this time of year.

With that in mind, I recently bought The Little Book Of Hygge and reading through it realised that yes, we already have candles and cosy socks and a wood burner.

We don’t really have blankets though, so, when I spotted this woollen blanket, carefully folded in a box of off-cuts at my local charity shop, it was a bit if a no brainer. It was the gorgeous, intense colour which caught my eye initially.

Of course I had to put my stamp on it and so using the Berber Stencil and Purbeck Stencil Paint, I added a deep border to each end. This was a quick project and in fact it was so quick and so relaxing to do, that I wish it had actually taken longer!
