Pretty Little Table

I bought this little table from a shop in Leominster. I painted it with a coat of Annie Sloan’s Old Ochre followed by a coat of Paris Grey
Once dry, I sanded the edges and then using two sizes of sponge dabbers, I printed the circular pattern using Old White. The trick here was to make the circles fit into a perfect ring. Not easy and there was an element of luck involved here!
The result was a very pretty little table, just waiting for a jug of flowers.
Little Willows shop in Pinner put it in their window and it sold in a week!   5 4 31 2

  1. Very nicely done! I have a similar table and ready for me to tackle with Annie Sloan.. What a great idea with painted circles… I just may copy that suggestion, if you don’t mind. 😀

  2. Glad you like it. The trick is to give the sponge dabber a little twist before you lift it off. Good luck
