Pretty Pots

I bought a job lot of terracotta pots on ebay recently. To be honest, I was secretly hoping I would lose the bid to somebody else, as the pots were in Reading and I am in London. However, I did indeed win the auction and so arose very early on a very rainy Sunday morning and set off up the motorway. My map reading skills, which are normally pretty good, failed me completely and the very nice man who I bought them from sweetly drove to find me (parked up in the car park of an industrial estate, still in the pouring rain!)

In retrospect I am now glad I made the effort, as I think these pots look really sweet. They are painted in Annie Sloan Graphite, Country Grey and Paris Grey chalk paint.They have been heavily waxed on the inside and out for protection. I gave my mum the grey ones for Mothers Day, filled with Narcissus.
