I recently spent a lovely afternoon mooching around a reclamation center in Hereford called Wye Valley Reclamation & Warehouse 701.
They have the most amazing things, ranging from huge church windows, to old school lockers. It was an opening launch day when we visited and the WI had provided the most incredible range of home made cakes. My sister said it was the best Black Forest Gateau she had ever tasted!
They have recently opened a homeware shop (Warehouse 701) and have little units housing a range of smaller items from small businesses, furniture, homewares and gifts
When I came back down to London I emailed them and asked if they may be interested in stocking some of my pieces of painted furniture. To my delight they said yes and so on Thursday I am loading up my car and driving up to drop them off. I’ll post some more pictures on Friday.
In the meantime here are some of their homeware products, which are available on their website. If you want to see the reclaimed treasures, you will have to pay them a visit at:-
Wye Valley Reclamation

Fordshill Road

Or you can buy the following lovely items here
Well done to you! These treasures (and your photos) are gorgeous.
Many thanks
My sister lives near Hereford so I will check this out when next up there.
You should also look at Baileys near Kingston, Herefordshire.
Yes people keep telling me about Baileys. I’ll try to fit it in next time I am up there.
